Nicole likes Hello Kitty pajamas, eating Beefaroni, knitting HZG beanies and breaking hearts. Well, she doesn't like breaking hearts but inevitably a gregarious, intelligent, attractive and athletically talented metro/mountain girl in her prime attracts plenty of admirers. For the past few years, Nicole has found herself living in the mountain and river environs where she excels at her passions. The last time I saw her, two days ago, she was powering powder turns down a steep chute immediately after stomping a solid and technical cliff drop. The boys looked on in awe. This reminded me of the times we've had the pleasure of paddling with her over the past few seasons. As on snow, Nicole's river lines: the steep, technical and large never cease to amaze onlookers and paddling partners. Equally at home running class five and throwing down on freestyle features, this girl simply enjoys paddling, being on the river and all of the adventures getting to and from runs. You'll never find Nicole simply sitting around the house on weekends or before/after work. Her defining characteristic is a motivation to use any opportunity to pursue her passions and pursue them to the fullest.
