Trip Jennings (25) is a waterfall fanatic, acclaimed film producer and tree huggin’ hippy. He started the Epicocity Project, a successful documentary film production company during his second (of six) year of college and has facilitated its growth to a full service TV production shop. Trip was named one of National Geographic Adventure’s ‘Adventurers of the Year’ in 2007 for successfully organizing the first ever kayak expedition to the remote island of New Britain, Papua New Guinea. He, along with his exceptionally qualified team, navigated the Pandi River from its underground source deep within the southern hemisphere’s largest cave system, through deep jungle gorges, to the Pacific Ocean. This was part of a three part series Trip is producing in 2008 for National Geographic TV called ‘Rivers in Demand.’ Through expeditions in PNG, China and the Republic of Georgia, the team will raise awareness to the value of biodiverstiy hotspots before they are destroyed.
When not exploring or producing, Trip is the house manager of The Lorax, a communal living environment for spineless liberals.
Cheers!
