Robin Betz is one of the brightest female whitewater stars in the Southeast. Originally hailing from Maryland, Robin now makes her home in Asheville, NC where she spends her non-kayaking days flexing her mad mapping skills as a computer smarty at a landscape architecture firm. In the space of a few short years Robin went from cutting her whitewater teeth as a raft guide on the Ocoee to running the Middle Kings (twice!) and winning the 2007 Green Race. In addition to kayaking, Robin loves practicing her ollies, running in the woods with the girls, drinking good wine and playing with her cuddly kitty cat Rainy. You can always find her chilling at the takeout in a signature pair of shades, talking the talk and getting ready for another run.
