Dave Fusilli (aka Demshitz Dave, F***ing Fusilli, Calm Dave, Little Dave, grumps, mad dad) is my older brother from another mother. From the great state of Pennsylvania, "up 'er in Clarion in 'at." Dave got into paddling at a young age through his dad, "Big Dave" sending him down flooded creeks in PA. After graduating from Clarion University with a degree in Environmental Science Dave went to work in Colorado as a raft guide in the summers and snowmobile guide in the winters. Dave has always followed his heart and does what he loves to do. Dave and I ended up paddling together with the Pyranha team and he and I along with some others helped create "Demshitz" . If you don't know what Demshitz is...just google it. Thanks to Astral and other sponsors, Dave and Demshitz have made epic descents with the best paddlers around and have paddled hung out and and partied with tons of kayakers across the globe. Add funny internet postings and videos in the mix and Dave and Demshitz have become a big sensation in the whitewater kayaking world.

Now, as the Team Manager for Pyranha Kayaks US, Dave puts a lot of time on the road in a team van with kayaks visiting dealers and competing in kayaking events and kayaking all across the country. Along with fellow Demshitz, Dave is out in the field promoting products, Astral life jackets, instructing boaters, filming adventures and living the dream! He's a safe and reliable guy. Which is nice to have around, especially with the Demshitz crew, and has been called Father Demshitz. He is a sick playboater, known for throwing some of the hugest clean loops, an experienced creek boater in South America in addition to the states, a top extreme racer, an all around "stout", cooks some mean black bean and egg burritos and is always the life of the party! And if you ever you say "Hey Dave! It's nice out!" He'll be quick to say, "Yeah Thanks... I think I'll leave it out." To him its all about just having fun.
